Public comment on the Salida Annexation
Supervisor District 3 Report – Supervisor Terry Withrow presented a draft copy of the Goodwin Consulting Study to the members of the Salida Annexation Ad Hoc Committee, Thomas Reeves, Dale Skiles and Katherine Borges. Supervisor Withrow reported that the probation reporting station on Broadway (“DRC” building) was voted upon at the Board of Supervisors meeting and approved to be closed by March 31, 2013.

Salida Fire Department – Dale Skiles reported that MID would be doing some work in preparation of the CalTrans work on the Kiernan interchange and Station 12 (Broadway & Salida Blvd) would be without power so the fire department will be moving over to Station 14 (Ciccarelli Rd) for a short period of time. Otherwise, fire service levels have been normal.

Salida Sanitary District – Salida Sanitary boardmember Brad Johnson read the newly posted “Fact Check” statement addressing statements made about Salida Sanitary District in regards to the potential annexation of Salida by Modesto.
